Ban List Discussion

So this is what the Spetember 1, 2010 ban list is lookiung like. i've seen it on a few websites and everyone seems to be agreeing with it. Anyways, here it is:

Banned:

Rescue Cat
Brain Control
Substitoad
heavy Storm

Limited:

Infernity Launcher
Trishula (OCG only)
Royal Oppression
Black Whirlwind
Monster Reborn
Dark Hole

Semi-Limited:

Snipe Hunter
Mystical Space Typhoon
Chaos Sorcerer
Magic Cylinder
Ojama Trio

Unlimited:

Cyber Dragon
United We Stand
Black Rose Dragon
Goblin Zombie
Treeborn Frog
Royal Decree

Now some thoughts...

For the banned cards, rescue cat and substitoad being banned shuts down some deck ideas for me, but i still have others. heavy storm is a card everyone uses so everyone has to deal with it, and i neve really cared much for brain control.

For the limited cards, for infernities i'm surprised the only thing touched is the launcher, but whatever. black whirwind and oppression are ok with me, i never really cared much for them. trishula hasn't hit us yet so thats not big deal. monster reborn and dark hole... gotta be honest, didn't see that coming. they will both be great to run. of course now that dark hole will be in the picture, starlight road is one of those cards that will probably have to be maindecked now.

For the semi-limited cards, that extra MST will replace the heavy storm. chaos sorcerer will be interesting for twilight builds. and the rest of the cards i never use, with the exception of ojama trio barely, so i dont care much for those.

For the unlimited cards, black rose dragon at 3 will be nuts, further proving my point about how starlight road will be popular this format. cyber dragon at 3 is a nice change, same with treeborn frog. the rest of the cards i dont think much about.

And thats my opinion on this list. it could still be a little different then this, but as it stands, this is where i stand.
