A New Way to Play

With the removal of priority, players are experimenting different card choices to test the most successful way to fight the new metagame. There are very few popular decks that are unaffected, for the most part (Heroes, Dark World, Chain Burn...). However, other popular decks take a beating from this (Dino-Rabbit, Wind-Ups, Dragons). I'm personally working with Dino-Rabbit, as my own little project, to find the way to survive and advance.

Players in the OCG, and some TCG players, favoured Dimensional Fissure in the deck. The TCG players originally played this in order to fight off Maxx "C", Plant Synchro... However this card failed to stick around in the deck, and that was that. I contemplated maining 3 copies of Dimensional Fissure, to prevent Veiler from stopping Rabbits. I quickly decided against it because this card does nothing against Inzektors and Heroes. That's when I thought of maining 3 Macro Cosmos instead, and these reasons explain why:

1. Macro is super effective against the following decks:

Inzektors
Heroes
Wind-Ups
Dark Worlds
Dragons

Not to mention there are quite a few others...

2. No hand traps will work. Veiler and Maxx "C" are useless. Additionally, those players who will side into Electric Virus, to steal my Dolkka, Laggia, Leviathan Dragon or Zenmaines, will be unable to use the Virus for that purpose.

3. Macro can bait out Warnings. I won a game on Dueling Network today because someone used Warning on my Macro, and then I pulled a Rabbit out of my hat...

4. In GAOV, we are getting Night Beam. Some players may choose to run many copies of this card. Funny thing is Night Beam only destroys face-down backrow. If Macro is face-up, Night Beam won't beat it.

5. Macro makes my Leviair a lot better...

Anyway, maining 3 copies of Macro is just an experiment. Who knows, tomorrow I may move Macro back to my side deck, but you never know.
