Order of Chaos Want List

The Order of Chaos Sneak Peak is this weekend and I think I am going. For the players at my Locals, it means there is less of a challenge this weekend... For me, it means I will be getting lots of cards. These are my somewhat organized thoughts on what cards I want to own from the set and why:

3 Inzector Hornet/ Dragonfly/ Centipede

I'm pretty sure everyone knows what these cards are capable of by now. If not, you can always search the card yourself. Anyway, these are the 3 main cards of the Inzector engine, and allow you to establish excellent advantage if you aren't thwarted by a Veiler, Shadow-Improsing Mirror or Fiendish Chain. I want to play this deck because it looks kinda fun. When these cards are released it will probably become tier 1 or close. Inzectors will likely be one of the bigger decks at the start of the next format. They shouldn't be hit too hard by the ban list because bigger things obviously should be dealt with...

1-2 Tour Bus From the Underworld

I already wrote a blog about this card a few weeks ago. It should be obvious why I want. It does work nicely with 3 Tour Guides.

3 Sweet Corn

I am very happy the TCG is finally getting this card. I have a deck idea that utilizes 3 of these. Maybe I will get around to using it this format, or it might have to wait until next format. We'll see.

3 Wind-Up Rat

These rats are part of a turn 1 hand-depletion combo and I want to make a deck based around it. I'm not really a fan of Wind-Ups; but this hand-depletion combo reminds of Fish FTK from last format. Although it is not as disastorous, since your hand will just go the graveyard instead of the removed from play pile, it is still pretty lethal. I may decide to try Wind-Up Inzectors. There is some synergy there, along with some interesting plays that can manufacture a huge advantage.

3 Wind-Up Zenmaighty

1 Number C39: Utopia Ray

I really like this card. I want to playtest and if it turns out to be usable I might try and work it into my extra deck for tournaments.

1 Inzector Exa-Beetle

I don't want this card because it is an Inzector. I want this card because it is the only legal TCG Rank 6 Exceed monster we have, and it's effect is actually kinda good. It makes monarch decks a little better.

1 Missing X-Saber Invoker

I want to build X-Sabers because I like the deck. I am very close to completing the deck and this card is now necessary for completing the deck.

1 Dark Flattop

I have a deck idea with this card, and Flying Fortress Sky Fire... and Machine Fortress...

Those are the cards I want from this set. ORCS is actually a very good set. This is one of those few sets where actually buying a box could potentially make you some profit because there are a lot of good cards. Unfortunately, Konami allowed the dumb hand-depletion combo to be integrated into the TCG, and we will have to deal with that for the rest of the format. The next time I write my blog, which will likely be tomorrow, I will go into a little more detail about it.
