Before YCS Philadelphia began, I automatically knew that either Dino-Rabbits or Chaos Dragons would be victorious. Sure enough, it was Chaos Dragons that won. This deck already won a YCS in Europe a little while ago, so it was about time that it won in North America. Honestly, this deck is absolutely insane, and I'm going to go over the reasons why:
1. Future Fusion = Painful Choice + potential Five-Headed Dragon. If a Dragon player resolves a Future Fusion, that player should automatically win (unless that player is terrible at the game, or both players activated it that game).
2. This deck's boss monsters include BLS, DAD, REDMD, Light Pulsar Dragon, Darkflare Dragon, Chaos Sorcerer, Judgment Dragon, Tragoedia and Gorz. I've always believed in the theory that decks with many boss monsters will always do well, which is why I built Frog Fairies last September.
3. This deck has significant deck thinning and drawing energy. Honestly, no one is playing Morphing Jar, and when I play around with this deck in a couple days, my deck should have Morphing Jar.
4. Honestly, siding against this deck is insignificant. Thunder King does very little against the deck (personal experience...), Macro can be counter by MST, D.D.R or Return from the Different Dimension... Any additional traps are countered by Royal Decree and Trap Stun. Oh, and for the mirror match, and those Acid Golems and damage step Forbidden Lances, Honest exists...
Yeah, those are my thoughts on Chaos Dragons. This deck is the new Agents, so everyone can enjoy their inexpensive Tier 1 starter deck.
